This is a long term use review of the model 3250 Sage Fly Fishing Reel. I have used this reel for 3 years now with more than 6 fishing trips worth of use. As you would expect from a Sage product, the quality of construction of the reel is excellent. The action is smooth and the drag adjustment is easy to operate. In my opinion Sage prices their equipment fairly for the quality you get. The Sage reel comes with a nifty padded reel protector jacket. The anodized finish is beautiful. I have dragged the reel across the rocks by accident while adding a new tippet on more than one occasions. The anodized finish has really held up well. The first fly reel I had was a Cortland. While the Cortland was ok and did the job, there is no comparison to the Sage on quality and smoothness of action. I would definetely buy another Sage Reel.
