Please note: FlyFishingAddiction.com is not owned by TackleDirect.com. Our Shop page just links to TackleDirect.com’s site.
What we do: FlyFishingAddiction.com was developed to give fly fishers a free place to show off their fly fishing pictures and an opportunity to share their fly fishing adventure story with everyone. We offer free advertising to fly fishing Guides who promote our site. If you use a fly fishing Guide for your adventure, make sure you add your Guides name to your adventure post so the Guide will get a free advertising block on your adventure post. The Guides work very hard to assure you have a great time, so please help them out with a free advertising block on your post. The Guide advertising is automatically created on your adventure post when you add their name to the Guides Name: _________________ blank on your post input.
Who we are: FlyFishingAddiction.com is run by fly fishing enthusiast who fish their home waters of the Guadalupe River in the hill country of Texas. The Guadalupe River below the Canyon Lake dam is listed as one of the top 100 trout streams in the US. The Guadalupe is stocked each year with Rainbow and Browns by the Texas Parks and Wildlife and by the Guadalupe River chapter of Trout Unlimited. The average trout caught is 12″ to 14″ but many fish over 20″ are caught each year by anglers. Since the tailwater flows from the bottom of Canyon Lake Dam many hold-over trout survive each year. We usually camp at L&L Campground and fish with a guide from ReelFly Guide Service. We are definitely not experts just addicted to the thrill of hooking into a beautiful Rainbow or Brown. You can’t go wrong with Guides Brent Hodges or Daniel Hughes of ReelFly Outfitters & Guide Service. They consistently put us on the fish.
