Jackson Fork Ranch Lodge

It sits about a hundred feet up the North side of the Upper Hoback Valley like a moose head above a fireplace. Down below, the Upper Hoback River carves its own way through the valley where bison graze and guard their calves from the wolves that are coming back to the land.

But it’s the big brother mountains–the Gros Ventre, Wind River, and Wyoming Ranges–that surround and protect this paradise like it’s their own secret anglers’ dream.

We invite you to to come share in the best of our secret hideaway. Bring your friends and family, and feel free to share the stories you‘ll experience here to anyone who’ll listen. But please, when mere acquaintances or strangers ask you, “Where is this Lodge at Jackson Fork?”, just say, “Head South from Jackson to the one-church, one-bar town of Bondurant and if you take a hard left, you‘ve gone too far.”

Even with thousands of miles of great fly fishing rivers, many Wyoming lodges are located near just two or three and usually only focus on fishing different parts of those same rivers.

The real beauty of The Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch is that it’s situated within an hour’s drive to dozens of different rivers and lakes. All offering different kinds of fishing and different kinds of trout. The Upper Hoback River even runs right through the Ranch property.

The Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch is proud to partner with many of the local experts to provide guide and outfitter services to our guests. What do we look for in a partner? Two words: local guides. All of the guides have either grown up in the area or lived here for many years. Aside from being excellent fly fishermen, their intimate knowledge of the area, the waters, and the trout that inhabit them make them a special asset to a successful and satisfying angling experience.

The Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch is also an official member of Trout Unlimited’s Outfitters, Guides & Business Members Program. By partnering with Trout Unlimited, we’re helping to preserve and protect America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
